Schaltbau Group upwardly revises forecast for 2010 at half-year
Munich, 22 July 2010 – Sustained by a strong recovery in the world economy, the Schaltbau Group performed better in the first half of 2010 than forecast at the beginning of the year. In view of the improved situation and the positive outlook for the months to come, the earnings forecast for the full year has now been upwardly adjusted. Earnings per share of €6.10 for the year are now predicted, well up on the previous forecast of €5.40.

Munich, 21 April 2010 – In a very difficult general economic environment, the Schaltbau Group continued its upward trend in the fiscal year 2009. The Group was able to meet its revised sales targets. "The real success, however, was shown in Group earnings, which – excluding the exceptional gain arising on the sale of Bode Beijing – almost matched those of the previous year, despite the crisis," said Dr. Jürgen Cammann, Executive Board Spokesman of Schaltbau Holding AG at the annual accounts press conference in Munich.
Schaltbau Group expanding in the USA
Munich/Kassel, 19 April 2010 - The Bode Group is strengthening its presence on the growing North American market for door systems by repurchasing Bode Corporation, which is based in Spartanburg, South Carolina, USA, and thus resolutely pursuing the Schaltbau Group's declared long-term strategy of expansion. In global business activities with train doors and increasingly with bus doors, the international orientation of suppliers is continually gaining in significance. The only way to flexibly fulfil the requirements of customers and simultaneously heed the call for so-called local content is to invest locally. With the reacquisition of Bode Corporation, the Schaltbau Group can now benefit from working within familiar, existing structures in order to successfully tap the key potential the North American market has to offer.
Schaltbau Group achieves sales target for 2009
Munich, 21 January 2010 – The Schaltbau Group successfully achieved its sales target for 2009, despite the dampening influence of the worldwide recession. Although, according to preliminary figures, the €65.0 million sales revenues reported in the fourth quarter 2009 were down on the €69.1 million reported one year earlier, the figure is an encouraging improvement on the third quarter 2009. Preliminary sales figures for the year totalled €270.5 million, 3.5 per cent or €9.7 million lower than the €280.2 million recorded at the end of 2008.
Personnel change in management of Gebr. Bode GmbH & Co. KG, Kassel
Munich / Kassel, 23 November 2009 -
Dr. Ernst Raphael (52) has been appointed spokesman of Gebr. Bode GmbH & Co. KG of Kassel, with effect from 23 November 2009 and thus succeeds Dr. Andreas Schunke who recently resigned. In this function he is responsible for the entire strategic orientation of the Bode Group. He is also directly responsible for the fields of technology, development and production.
Schaltbau Group on track in third quarter 2009
Munich, 04 November 2009 - The companies of the Schaltbau Group continued to perform in line with forecast during the third quarter 2009. The impact of the economic crisis on the business performance of certain areas, which was quite extensive in some cases, was countered with cost-cutting measures at an early stage. The Group's short-term prospects changed very little during the period under report and thus the Executive Board abides by its earnings forecast of €6.20 per share for the fiscal year 2009 and annual sales revenues of approximately €270 million.

Munich, 21 July 2009 - The Schaltbau Group performed as expected in the first half of 2009 despite highly difficult economic conditions and confirms its forecast for the full year. Assuming that markets relevant for the Schaltbau Group do not suffer a massive slump in the further course of 2009, the Group abides by its prediction of earnings per share in the region of € 6.20.
