Personnel change in management of Gebr. Bode GmbH & Co. KG, Kassel

Munich / Kassel, 23 November 2009 – Dr. Ernst Raphael (52) has been appointed spokesman of Gebr. Bode GmbH & Co. KG of Kassel, with effect from 23 November 2009 and thus succeeds Dr. Andreas Schunke who recently resigned. In this function he is responsible for the entire strategic orientation of the Bode Group. He is also directly responsible for the fields of technology, development and production. After studying mechanical engineering and subsequently completing his doctorate at the Ruhr University in Bochum, Raphael began his professional career as head of development and design. After taking on further duties as divisional manager in mechanical engineering companies, Raphael became managing director of two independent units within the ThyssenKrupp Group. Most recently he worked as member of management for Allweiler AG of Radolfzell, world market leader in the field of screw pumps. In the course of these duties he was not only responsible for sales in Europe, the Middle East and Africa but also for the overseas sales companies as well as the company’s plant in Bottrop.

After more than six years' service at Gebr. Bode, Dr. Andreas Schunke (49) resigned from the board of management on 13 November 2009. The decision was taken as a result of differing opinions regarding the future orientation of the company's foreign strategy. Dr. Schunke had been Technical Managing Director since 1 July 2003 and Management Spokesman at Gebr. Bode since January 2005. During this time he significantly promoted the successful reorientation of the company. The management of Schaltbau Holding AG has explicitly thanked him for this achievement and emphasised that all other aspects of the company's current business policy will be retained.

Harald Gieren and Dirk Christian Löchner continue unchanged as members of the board of management.
